( hello )
I'm a reporter on the investigative team of the Associated Press, where I use data, narrative writing and open-sourced techniques to tell stories with humanity and depth. I've covered everything from the border wall's impact on a beloved Arizona river, to police brutality, to methane leaks in the Permian Basin. I'm currently focused on stories about oceans, shipping and fisheries.
Before journalism, I was a data analyst. I studied math and computer science at Bowdoin College.
Outside of work, you might find me reading, camping, learning to climb or riding my bike around DC.
